key to determining a SMU or AMU

must be relatively available to all at cheap price

usable for multiple purposes

tasting good a bonus

filters don't match the qualifications - too expensive to qualify

YMMV

you could use gloves and not consume the SMU if that is an issue

I got all those filters for $40. Hmmm....13 filters (most are 77mm) for $40 seems cheap to me.

And.

They never go bad, and won't make you ill or fat.

for filters that is a great price

the SMU and AMU are cheaper but don't work as filters

Agree with not making you fat, but they WILL make you ill. You will put them on some lens or other and go out in terrible weather with your weather resistant Pentax, completely forgetting that you are not weather resistant and get the sniffles that turn into a full blown cold and lose work and time and your pictures will be terrible because you cannot concentrate on your Post Processing. So There!

The weather doesn't make us ill, viruses make us ill.

And I'm already missing work. Nearly three weeks now.

But I got something new!

Stainless screws, a stainless rod (to be removed later), and not one but two Nitinol clips!

This lens is unjustly underappreciated.
You got to stop it down, then the result is quite good, and works a treat with P-TTL and any camera mode (not many PKA lenses in this focal range).
Really it's a 20mm more than a 19mm (the Cosina version was sold as a 20mm). I don't find it too disturbing. I am more concerned by the performance, which has proved to be satisfying. I took test shots in PixelShift mode and I saw a definite increase in sharpness, which means that the optic works well enough at medium apertures.
This lens could well give the best price/performance ratio of all the 20mm's that can be used on a Pentax camera.
Of course the Pentax-A 2.8/20mm is better, but it is also way more expensive...

Thanks, I was hoping to hear from folks that have experience using this little lens.
