Ooh, nice Dadi.
Yeah, I'm pleased. It was a splurge but I have a weakness for the A* lenses. Glad to say it cleaned up nicely.

A bit grimy and scuffed but the glass and blades are perfect and it's fully functional.

Needs a hood, though.
Very nice

Most of an unloved 50 foot roll of this:

For $1.50. I'll figure out something to do with it (gobos, hood, snoots, etc.).

Latest pair

I've not been acquiring much to shout about for a long while, but in the last two weeks this combo found its way to me (thanks to B&H and a fellow PF'er):

A well matched pair! Plus, that pristine 43mm came with everything, down to the 1997 warranty card.

Just arrived today, however I am really trying hard to find the dreaded stained sensor within the next couple of days.

Even with the hood, that is an inconspicuous street shooter :-)

I got a center-pinch cap that fits on the cheap rubber hood for the FA50 (the original cap would not work because its outer edge interfered - a small detail not given by the person who said the hood fits the lens perfectly...). Does it never end?

I just bought an Olympus OM-PC (aka OM40) 35mm SLR in AS IS condition from KEH for $3.50.
This is the SLR model I worked on at Olympus in my first job out of tech school in 1986.

Though described as inoperative it seems to be working okay.
I was expecting a paperweight, not a working camera.
If anyone has a bargain OM mount lens for sale let please me know...

Chris

Hee, cool. I vaguely remember those. I know a place where I can look for some OM mount glass, probably nothing wonderful, but I can take a peek.

Forget about the stain and go enjoy the camera and that nifty new lens. If the stain shows up, worry about it then.

I have a Vivitar 135 2.8 that is like new,had it with my 'k' stuff for years, bought a new k-x as my first dslr got it out and tried to use it but it is a different mount, think it is Konica. They are adapting these old Konica's to the new 4/3 format but don't know if it will work on yours.Have a not too great picture of the mount beside a 'k' mount.

Yeah, *comparing to a Konica that happens to be here...* Yep, that looks like Konica mount, actually.

Still have yet to check out the place I might find an OM lens, though.
