I actually have new acquisitions, or will in a few days if/when they arrive. Two A-type Vivitar Series 1 zooms: 19-35/3.8 and 70-210/2.8, US$70 for the pair, shipped. The long one will be my fastest longer lens, beating out a 70-210 and some 200's at f/3.5. The short one should be wizard on my ZX-M and the upcoming K3. Price is a bit at the high end for me but I just couldn't pass them by.

I thought it was pretty good. Specs made sense, the camera going to a reduced sensor when it had DA lens attached. Whoever did the photoshop on the image did a good job. I felt my wallet getting lighter as I read the article.

It seems i'm the happy buyer of a DA*55mm on ebay, at the price of 402€ (plus 12€ of postal fees.)
The funny thing is that is put my max bet at 402,50€ a minute before the end. at 60 sec of the end, it was at 375€. A guy increase its bet of 5€ until 402€, then he stops 20 sec before the end

Soooo lucky. But i really thought i wouldn't got it, so i didn't really cared.

On the other hand, i'm the happy seller of a DA 40 for 250€, so the DA* don't cost me very much.

Can't wait to receive my very first DA* lens (emphasize on the "staaaaaar"

)

Well so much for my buying freeze, i bit the bullet and bought an SMC tak 35 3.5 from Mighty Mike this morning (more than I like to pay for old lenses but a fair price i'm just cheap and was having no luck in the junk shops finding one

)
he's shipping today so I should have it in time for the cherry blossoms
