A Carl Zeiss (Jena) Flektogon 50mm/f4.0 for just €50 (+€14 shipping) on Ebay Germany - unelievably cheap and I didn't even snipe!

Left by itself, right on the Arsat K-mount tilt adapter:

Quick 'n dirty test at the dining room table:

Good one Doc! Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

I don't suppose you also have the DA 10-17 to make a comparison, do you?
FishEyes are awesome...

I know - at first I didn't like it at all, and sold my 10-17. Now I have it again, and now I "get it". I'm tempted to buy the Bower 8mm for even more fisheye fun!

No, sorry. The only other Fish-Eye I have ever owned is the 03 for the Q.

It's looking like it's going to be a lot of fun. The Hyperfocal distance on this thing is like 1.5 FEET! Wow.

Got an ME with a Pentax M 50 1.4 attached to it last night. Lens looks decent, camera needs new seals. I also got a weird camera with it, a Contina that the lens pops out of, and that says Zeiss Ikon on the front of it.

Latest Insane Purchase

This for my Q and K-01

It came with these accessories attached.

Yashica Electro 35 GSN
I know, these were common as dirt in the 70's. Something like 8 million altogether were sold over the lifetime of the basic design. I tried to buy just the Finder but the estate sale lady said they were a group and she would not part them out. Oh well - she drove a hard bargain. $15.

I swear it is heavier than my K-01 and feels bigger, too. The RF seems a bit cloudy and so does the finder, but maybe that's just the way they are. Otherwise it doesn't look like this one has ever been out of the ER case.

Now I just have to mess with making a stack of 4 LR44 batteries in some cardboard towel tubing to see if it even works. If not, off to Mark Hama.

You mean the SD cards in the Adorama envelope in the background?

(Could be on the selective color thread, with no care about the junk around the edges).
