Normally I am not a big fan of Canon, but this one kind of fell into my lap; even came with a proper working battery ... think that I will keep it around a bit. Salut, J

A transcend wifi 16GB memory card. Still not used to work with it while I'm traveling.

Merci OH,

I going to put a roll of Illford 100 in it and place it in the car for those moments when I see something interesting or for during my lunch break downtown.

Should be fun and I love the feel of this large body in my somewhat big hands ... A+, J

Just scored a Super Takumar 50/1,4 with the original hood for the 100mm f4, for 30€.
Wear outside, slight yellowing of the glass, but clean otherwise. Upon further inspection, i'm afraid i missed a very little web of fungy

I'm wondering wethere or not convert it to K mount (don't hang me too fast, i'd like to be able to reverse it if needed. So a clean job is the goal).

Do you mean something like loctite'ing an adapter to the lens?

It is easy to use with an M42 to PK adapter, so no real need to change the mount.
Congrats

I didn't realize that the screwmount and the rest of the backside of the lens was made of a single piece. So the change of the mount implies that the new mount should have the space of the Auto /Manual switch.

So yes, a simple adapter will be perfect. E(vil)bay should provide what i'm looking for

Halloo Jean.
The lens has arrived and is rather lovely.
I think it is another Tomioka design and maybe made by them - who knows.
Here is a sample:

I will put this up for fun ... x-post from "Impossible lens" thread.

"Well ... it was only 5€ at a boot sale this weekend and I could not resist (came with manual, lamp & microphone, too). A dead "Kohka" brand 8mm movie camera that I dissembled Sunday night. Remove a middle element only and can focus to about 1.5m ... some test images and maybe will add an "aperture" to see if that helps any ... ha!"
