JP, since I liked you once I'll give you a head start. We're lighting the fires under the tar barrels now.

Heck, I could easily finance a trip to France with a few finds like that
Merci bien ... maybe I will go back to Oklahoma to hide there.

On second thought, bad plan.

Large community yard sale at Buxerolles just north of Poitiers last Sunday. I hit it, as all the really close ones ... And I see this ... and I think that a "zero" is missing from the red-marked price tag. Nope. I look good. I see good. I offer a "two" and a "zero", but the middle-aged lady selling the item said no in that she wanted a "two" and a "five", but no "zero" afterwards. So, I paid cash on the spot ... and now I am a bit scared. Didn't ask why for the sale, just bought and left. Almost afraid it might be "hot", but the lady seller looked AOK and her stand was a bunch of average garage sale type items. Maybe I am being a bit "parano" ... but this thing is freaking new without any use marks and just a bit of a slightly tattered box ... go figure. As my French wife says, "J, you have a butt full of noodles!". Not divorce words, just means that I am lucky ... I guess.
I'll give you 50 for it!
100% profit.

You could run to Canada.

Then again, you would have to suffer Bert's bagpipes. Some would prefer the tar and feathers

I promise I wouldn't play, if you sold me that lens at only a 100% profit...

My wife is a little surprised I have it now..... I tell her is she hadn't stolen the Tamron 90 from me it wouldn't have been necessary. (You have to make it her fault.)
We own the FA 50 macro. the Sigma 70 macro, the Tamron 90 macro.

In the past year the Tamron was dropped in a lake, the FA 50 macro was half full of water after one of my packs got water in the bottom on a canoe trip. We dried them both out successfully but that's not the issue. And this lens is tiny, fits really nice in the travel case. I've always preferred longer focal length macros, it was only a matter of time, and it's time had come.

Congratulations on a superb lens! I think the two of you will get along well

If I was sure I could do that, I wouldn't have bought it. But really, it's about the same FoV as the Sigma 70 on my K-3, it's what I'm used to.

So I'll bid 35 euros plus cheap shipping to the U.S. Just image the profit you'll have! Seriously, that was an AMAZING purchase.

make a contribution to a good charity

otherwise

great job

( where did I store that tar and bag of feathers - wait, I don't think I can afford to go there and do what might be required )

These soft disposable wipers are great for cleaning and general maintenance.
Safer than microfiber cloths which often only spread grease and grime around.
