Pixie Dust Garth!

My FA 77 Ltd. Came via FedEx this morning, I took it out and am currently copying 1024 files from my SD card to my hard drive to examine what I took. Even in the viewfinder, I think I am going to be amazed and possibly addicted to Ltd.s
That is 1024 shots in less than 3 hours. I really went crazy stopping anywhere that there could be a possible shot. And taking pictures whether there was or not!
How can I delete images that look amazing as long as I had the focus correct? I need a NAS or several more Hard Drives I think. Shots are SOOC (K-50) and cropped only. It makes a seagull look like a bird of prey. And images of just about anything look special.

I get a 10¢ an hour cost of living raise starting today.

Collective bargaining has its merits.

congratulations!
$0.10 * 8 * 40 * 52 = $1664.00 -- would be plenty for a nice lens.
Except for the actual increase in Cost of Living eating up twice that.

Think you have to get rid of the '8', CR.

My motto for my thrift store ... "Go often and go early".

Saturday's opening hour haul ... all for 12€

- a Minolta AF Macro 50/3.5 = 2€
- a Minoltla Dynax 5 + flash = 6€ (4+2)
- a Sigma AF 18/3.5 in Minolta A = 2€
- a Minolta 80-200 = 2€

Happy camper to have the macro and UWA lenses for my Minolta AF film gear and now seriously thinking about a Sony FF DSLR ...

That's really good - it's rare to see prime lenses for the Dynax series, mostly the people who bought them went for zooms.

My day was less exciting but hopefully reasonably profitable - a nice Pentax-A 50/1.7 for £15 and a Weston Master meter for £3.

Any tips for a Maxxum that decides that it doesn't want to AF any more?

It's a steal! Lucky you

My latest, well... garden shed, pavers for it, soil, mulch, manure, lots of soil-mulch-manure , palm, plants, plants, and again more plants.
Big axe and new mattock, the old one died while fighting roots of oak near sidewalk.
Free travertine paver cuts from my neighbor's leftovers from the patio remodeling, saved me trips to the store for small projects around the garden.

And on the top of it was absolutely spontaneous buy of Tamron 500mm mirror lens. Just because I've never tried mirror lens. And yes, I deserve a little treat.

I was once talking to a mechanic and mentioned I'd bought a new mattock and he asked " A Pneumatic what ?" We both scratched our heads for a moment or two before the penny dropped...

Déformation professionnelle. I don't know if professional deformation means the same in English. From the mechanic perspective...

You seems to have over estimated his improvement in wealth by 8 times. You seem to have 8 for 8 hours per day and 40 for 40 hours per week.

Sorry, Racer, for deflating your basis for excitement by all this.
