Got a couple of eBay job lots tonight, hoping they're OK.

A Tessar 50/2.8 and a Cosina 70-210 4.5-5.6 for £16.59 inc P&P - focus ring of the Tessar is dented, hopefully nothing too horrible apart from that.
An Adaptall 70-210 4.8-4 without a mount, a Helios 44-2, and a set of M42 tubes for £10.29 inc P&P. - look OK but grubby, hoping there's no fungus.

Neither lot will make me rich, but they look like I'll break even or come out ahead if I clean things up and get some good test pictures to show they're working

A simple FA 50mm f1,4 as a light, small, fast lens for various situations. The new DFA 50 that’s coming is too big and heavy for my needs.

Yes, I'm glad there are plenty of small lenses out there. I'm sure the new DFA will be fantastic, but the price paid in bulk and weight is too much for me, too.

I've only seen the photos but it did appear to be overly large for my taste

I'll stick with my DA 50mm 1.8

and I have no interest in a full frame sensor camera body

You will in a few months.

In another thread I was looking at what was supposed to be a drawing of the new 50 f1.4 lens. If the drawing is correct it will have 17 elements!!!!

oh, I will look at the info and photos of course

but I won't be buying a full frame sensor camera body or that lens unless I find one at an extremely attractive price

well below market.

well, well, below market

Me neither now that I have the 645Z, although I still have one.

Store Demonstrator here, from fwcetus. SF1n was a gift from a friend. F50/1.7 from ChipB. F35~70 I forget from whom.

Canon AV-1 w/ 50/1.8

Because it's really nice to have an AV camera for the 55/1.2

Nice, but not totally necessary. I have converted both the FD 55mm f 1.2 and the FL 55mm f 1.2 to Pentax K-mount, and they work like M lenses on Pentax cameras.

My latest acquisition is the right to purchase Pentax gear... or it is a forgiveness for previous purchases, not sure, but hope it's both. In short, it's that magic thing called "jewelry"

But the gear/jewelry thing is mostly an either/or proposition.
