Looks like my Tair-11, except that the Tair is 133/2.8, and the Jupiter is 135/4. But it's the same silver barrel design.
Jupiter is much smaller though

I bought a Pentax-M 50/1.4 from a forum member, and I like what it offers, especially on the 6MP CCD sensor of my *istDS.

More recently I went shopping in a B&M store and bought a travel tripod (mostly for tabletop use with film cameras or a K-5 with DA15 when fully shrunken; no illusions about its unfitness fully extended with a K-1 and D-FA*70-200 on it), a 62mm polarising filter for my DA18-135 (long overdue), and some Kodak liquid developer to supplement my Ilfosol 3 (because one-shot premix simply suits my workflow better).

One new front wheel bearing, exhaust manifold gasket, an oil change and NY State inspection.

New aluminum storm doors front and back to replace the existing 1980 doors. Gracious, they’re expensive.

I estimate they’d be 240* SMU’s.

Per management a contractor will replace all windows and balcony doors here.
Our unit is among the very first on the list, scheduled for December 10th.

Hopefully we won't have an early snow.
I feel sorry for those scheduled for January and February.

Our balcony railings were removed six months ago and we have been unable to access it.
They have been working with jackhammers ostensibly repairing the slabs and brickwork.
It sounds like they are right outside my window every day, all day, while I am trying to sleep.

Anybody ever see the movie Pacific Heights?

Chris

Some years ago, when my wife was on shift work, the neighbors in the town house next door decided to change all the gyproc. You have our sympathy.

Just finished our central air installation today. Yesterday was probably the last hot day of the year. Ready for next year. What this really means is that I have put an end to global warming. The new thermostat seems to have a more complex menu than my DLSR's.

Also got a new Mini Maglite Pro LED flashlight. My old one has been getting very cranky lately.

***Hint*** - Old Mini Maglite sheaths are very handy for holding folding pocket knives. I keep a CRTK M16-03Z spear point knife in one.

My latest acquisition isn't here yet, but coming tomorrow...

My combi gas boiler for heat and hot water has been playing up for a while now, and repairs were both temporary and inconclusive. I only bought this house four years ago, and we estimate the boiler was here for six-to-eight years before that, perhaps several more... So it's at least ten years old, but probably significantly older. Frankly, the existing boiler is below specification for the size of the house. It's done rather well to service the previous owners' requirements and mine for this long. The last couple of weeks, I truly thought I'd be without heating and hot water, as the boiler has required resetting and coaxing into life many times each day... but it has done its best and lasted beyond my expectations

So, tomorrow (Friday) I'm having a new, much-higher-spec boiler installed. The fitters will power-flush each of the radiators and all the piping, and fit a water filter on the incoming line, then install the boiler which is rated for at least this size of home and somewhat larger. It has a ten year guarantee, so with the system flush and water filter, I'm hoping it'll be good for at least that and ideally quite a bit longer.

Sadly, the cost means I'll be limiting my photography equipment purchases for some time to come... unless one of the rarer Soviet lenses on my "to buy" list comes available, in which case I'll just have to find a way

This is a running joke in Pentax Forums. The girl guide cookie was stacked up to show the size of a lens by (I think) Pepperberry Farm some years ago, and was adopted by the rest of us.

My latest "LBA Buy" is a Pentax A 50 f1.4 to go along with a Pentax K3-II (couldn't pass up the deal since its been discontinued and now hard to find new).
After a weekend in Upstate NY (Upper Hudson Valley) trying to shot fall foliage, I am so torn between my K-5IIs and the new K-3II. Love that K-5IIs!!

A bought an Olympus TG-850 (second hand but barely used) to take with me on biking trips, without worrying about it getting wet (since it can go ten feet under water). Special charactaristics a flippin' selfie screen and 21mm equivalent wide end.

edit pic with the czj ddr Tessar 50/2.8

SMU’s in practice, as shown by Pepperbury Farm
