Not camera stuff...this time

I picked up a few technology things
  • Logitech K840 Mechanical Keyboard (I have the original gamer equivalent keyboard, and I wanted the more serious brother)
  • USB Bluetooth adapter for the Steam box
  • 32GB Micro SD, because you can never have too many

Brother HL-3150CDW colour laser printer - colour, networked, duplexing, and wireless. Fairly cheap too, £145 new inc VAT, e.g. about 1/6th the price of my first mono laser - delivery would have been free too if I hadn't needed it before the weekend.

Another KP, this time a black one. It will help me to avoid lens changes in the winter.
I really like these little cameras.

I just got a Yashica FR II with an ML 50/2 lens... It is my second Yashica (I have an Electro 35 which I really dig).

Initially, the purchase was made for the lens... Then I realized that it was a CY mount, and figured to take a dremel to it and convert it.

Now, I'm looking at the camera and lens combo, and I think I like it. It is in nice shape. I realize that the FRII is fully auto; but this is a good reason for me to like it. It would be good to snap shots while with the family and on events like such...

Oh well, upon getting a battery, a test roll will be shot and likely will take it from there.

Well. This week I got a crumpler five million dollar home for £8 and two Chinon m42 lenses for £17 each. The lenses in question are the tomioka made 28mm f2.8 which is excellent and the equally superb 35mm f2.8. They are SUPERB and very cheap for the quality. I am a very happy bunny

Tamron Adaptall-2 103A 80-210mm w/ Minolta MD adapter.

I bought the lens because it had the MD adapter...The eBay photos didn't show that it had the original box with the case and literature. It doesn't look like it's ever been used...

Original price tag is still on the box...$208.95. Assuming mid-80s that's $500 in 2018$. I paid $12.50 plus $7.00 shipping...

The listing said 100% of proceeds was going to support a cat shelter for blind cats...

Re my chinons, it turns out the 28mm is not a tomioka, its a tamron and the 35mm is a sun. Either way, they are excellent and I am still a happy bunny

Re my chinons
I have a 50/1.7 Auto chinon - not the one depicted in the forums (Chinon Auto MC 50mm f/1.7 Lens Reviews - Miscellaneous Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database) as mine does not have the "MC or Multi-Coated" green text, and also mine takes a 52mm filter/cap. I had to epoxy the M42 pin as it lacked the switch. I love that lens, it provides very unique photos.

Picked up an Astrotrac tt320x for a smidgeon over £200 including the polar scope and power lead. Now I just need clear skies to start pixelshifting Andromeda.

Also picked up a 150-450 and UV filter for $1100 dollars delivered to UK.

Sold a 60-250 and about to sell a Tamron 300mm f2.8 and maybe an Ioptron skytracker , and 2*Sigma 70-300's before the Mrs adds the numbers up....
