What a couple of wimps.

It just got UP to 30º F (-1º C) a few minutes ago. We have over 8 inches (20 cm) of white stuff on the driveway, road, sidewalk, house and soon, me.

The only white stuff we have around here comes from Columbia and is illegal........

A Sigma 28-200 for the Sigma DSLR I got - £18 inc. P&P which feels reasonable. Now that I can test it I've realised that keeping this is NOT a good idea, I've only ever had two or three lenses in this fitting - I let my enthusiasm run away with me. I'm going to sell it on with the lens and buy a Sony A100 or similar instead, it would be a lot more use since I see a lot of lenses in Minolta / Sony fitting.

30F...that's the high temp up here in early April.

Latest acquisition...Yvon Bourque's K1/ K1 Mk. ll operators manual through the special that Mr. Bourque and the PF is having. Back in 2008 I bought the Bourque K10D manual and boy, what a difference it made in my understanding and ability to get the most out of that great camera. So far, I've just read a bit of the K1 book and already I've picked up some information...new to me about this camera.. Well worth the money.
