sounds good to me

there is no problem with being true to one's self

ive been lucky enough to find my limiteds in the market place at acceptable prices

Those lenses don’t interest me because they don’t have aperture rings.

Useless for bellows or extension tube macro work.

Nice but heavy. I have one and have used it but find that in outdoor lighting my 55-300 does well enough. Perhaps I should consider putting it up for sale as I haven't used it in ages......or perhaps I should make a point of shooting with it.

My latest purchase (bundle) was....
2 BenQ GW2270 monitors, a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 Mic Pre-Amp/Audio interface (for music production and YouTube Videos, a 4 TB WD Drive for Storage and an Intel Xeon Quad core CPU (W3520) with Hyperthreading and Quick Path Interconnect to upgrade my Workstation.
Oh, also bought the wife 4 brand new all weather tires for her car.
I think I'm done for the year... Oh no, no , no no no NO I'm not! Gotta get the DA HD 55-300... Then I'll be done, unless I get a good tax return lol.

Another KodakGear 80-210 (this time actually marked as 80-210, not 78-215) in Nikon fitting. Should get it in a few days, cost £16 including postage, and hopefully will make a modest profit. Also a boxed DVD set of the TV series "Firefly" for my grand-nephew's birthday next month; he's learning Chinese, since almost all of the swearing in this series is in Chinese I think it will be educationally useful, and annoy my niece immensely...

I made myself take it on a date the other day. Yeah it is heavy but I told myself it was the only lens I was allowed take to shoot with for the afternoon at the lake. Forced me to look long but even at 25-30 feet the photos were really nice.

OK, a couple of days ago, I pulled the trigger on a K-70 for £395 (around US $500) from the SRS (UK!) "Xmas sale" - should arrive on Monday (could have been earlier but I couldn't be sure that someone would be here to accept it until Monday).

PS: The K-30/ "K-50" might then go into honourable "semi-retirement" !

PPS: same deal available until 11th, or possibly the 12th (It's unclear!) Jan - and free P&P to UK residents if you are on PentaxUser.com, but you have to phone SRS to make that clear!
