There are lots of them out there!
This is why I stick to Pentax. 3 Mounts is enough for me. I just received a NOS 645 for K adapter after viewing months of posts from a certain member and then buying a job lot of A 645 lenses and a 645 with bunged up eyepiece threads.

This has to. Stop.

Maybe you all should move over here....there are little to no lenses for Pentax available without overseas shipping

This is my reality

Hey! Maybe nothing incredibly special, but I'm happy with having scraped up for a used Fuji X20 for my pocket, (well, any large pockets, but I wear a lot of those.)

I'm hoping to really start shooting again after a period of a lot of back pain and eyesight/migraine trouble really blunting my enthusiasm, (Also the fact that most of the rest of what I do can't really be done slinging a full-sized camera kit, but I'm kinda hoping to also use this to get myself back into film. ) I'm already loving the optical finder: it shows information and focus targeting, and some idea of framing, but works for me even if I'm too dayblind to read one of those darn screens or have been wearing my reading glasses too much.

Even got a black one, which doesn't really matter much, but when I was a young photog gal, having a lot of 'chrome' bodies had annoying status implications I coulda done without, even if they're seen as kinda special and old-school now. Also got the OEM slotted lens hood: I'm surprised the slots aren't anywhere near as helpfully-shaped as they should be, but I may consider putting it on the drill press if I can set up a jig and bit I can be confident about.

Anyway, I should be popping up on the compact cameras board again, soon. Especially cause I didn't get a manual.

No acquisitions, but finished making stops for the weird Itorex 50mm f40 thing and took it out for a walk. I think it's even less sharp than the first one I had! Truly horrible bit of kit, but if you want blurry with lots of colour fringing and added unsharpness it's possibly the lens for you. I'll post the pictures in a day or two.
Had a bit of luck today - I'd been thinking about bidding on a Tamron 28-200 LD 3.8-5.6 AF for Nikon someone was selling on eBay, which was up to £23, but the dealer in Portobello Road I've mentioned a few times had exactly the same lens on an old 35mm body, and was prepared to sell me the lens for £20! Nice bit of kit and works well. Only problem is that we were talking about something else while I was buying it, and I remember actually saying "did I pay you for this?" and getting a "yes." Except that when I got home I checked my wallet (which I should have done straight away) and I still had the money I'd started with. So I'll have to go back next week, apologise, and pay for it...
