Well the guy sitting on the gray does so as if he knows how it is done.

Another trawl through east London charity shops, with quite good results

Canon Eos 400D with 18-55 - no battery and the flash is sticking, but it works (I used the spare battery from my own 400D) and doesn't have any unfixable problems.
Sigma DL 35-80 for Canon bodies - the usual black grunge problem but works.
Vivitar x3 converter for Canon FD
Sunagor 28/2.8 M42
Sunagor 80-200 M42
Fujinon 55/2.2 M442 - something wrong with aperture, it's manual only, but optically very good.
Vivitar 70-210 2.8-4.0 in Nikon AI-S mount with original case
Cobra 7000AF flash for Olympus with grip and extension cable - works but I can't test it on a camera since I don't have anything compatible, it's for digital models
A couple of nice leatherette lens cases I might keep for my own lenses
A set of early Zenit extension tubes in a black plastic box which I think may be Bakelite (if so the box is probably worth a lot more than the tubes!)
A Canon 200E flash
A x2 converter in M42 fitting
A cable remote control, not sure what camera it's for but I think early Nikon digital
A Kood micro 4/3 T-mount
An M42 to bayonet adapter (not sure what fitting, I suspect Sigma AF) and a reversing rig with the same bayonet
Several stepping rings of various sizes
A folding flash bracket
and a 77mm ND x3 filter with 52-77 stepping ring

Total spend £65, if I can't make a profit on that I'm really not trying...

later - some wrong guesses there - looks like the remote is for Olympus digital bodies, and the reversing ring and M42 converters are Olympus 2/3 - since I got them in the same shop as the Cobra flash that makes sense - and I don't think the Zenit box is bakelite, it doesn't have quite the right feel on closer inspection. Not 100% sure how to test it non-destructively.

After I found that my Sankyo Kohki Komura 2.8/135mm is one of my most amazing vintage lenses, I went for two more Komura lenses.

Sankyo Kohki Komura 2.5/105mm

Sankyo Kohki W-Komura 3.5/28mm

The first one is the fastest tele available in standard UNI mount (the super-fast ones, that fetch crazy prices, have two different UNI mounts made specifically for them). It is in questionable conditions, with little scratches, and needs to be cleaned.
The second one is less desirable, and much less expensive, but it comes in M42 UNI AUTO mount. If I will ever buy another UNI AUTO lens with another mount (most seem to be in Minolta SR bayonet), I will have the right mount to use it on my Pentax cameras...
The comments I have found online are positive, the 3.5/28mm will hopefully prove its worth.
I will try it as soon as it arrives
Will you be adding reviews on this site?

This package arrived on Friday, but I discovered it only on Saturday. Someone put it on my table... By the way, do you prefer to know what's in the package, or be surprised? The seller used an unorthodox way to package the lens... And I just realized that I don't have a photo of the lens itself, so that would have to wait until I get home.

Honestly, it wasn't intentional, but the picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say

Latest gear:

Switched over from Cactus to the Godox system, got tired of switching firmware for TTL and HSS and the triggers occasionally stopping firing, extra batteries required and the extra gear to carry around and fiddle with. Godox just seems much more integrated.

Flashpoint XPro-P
Flashpoint AD200
Godox TT600 (x2)

Along with a couple extra Amazon basics stands and a Softbox (included with the AD200)

waiting on delivery today for a set of JJC extension tubes for my Fuji,, Jonathan getting a set on the Fuji thread got me tempted, if they turn out problematic it's amazon they can go back, but $50 for the 2 versus $260 for the OEM ones ...... really a no brainer as long as they work properly

I switched to a 3 flash ttl godox setup with the large fuji trigger that lets me control multiple configurations, works great simplified life enormously

Just used the 12% off code at KEH for a Sigma 8-16 that they had as EX condition. Nice price and I'm looking forward to trying it out at the wide end. The 12-24 is nice but 8 is SO much wider. Now the waiting begins.......

Some goodies in Portobello Road; an Exa IIa body for £5, more or less working but the 2nd shutter blind is sticking a little, and an early Minolta AF 50 1.7 for £25, working on my Sony A100 and very clean, with caps and a polariser.
