Nice Super!..Now get the winder - they're inexpensive - and a really fast 50mm, and you'll have an impressive, highly usable package.

Thanks! Both need CLA for frozen advances. If they’re not economical display is a valid option in their cosmetic condition. I have the Winder ME with intact battery door and more 50’s than I can count, including K and A 50/1.2 and 1.4. For nostalgia I’ll probably stick an M50/1.7 or M40/2,8 on the front and shoot street zone focused @f/8 on Auto. Those are my last two M lenses.I’m pretty stoked to use the ME-F with regular lenses too.

Nice film collection you have. I also have an Ikoflex, YahsicaMat and 645 - small world.

Think I just picked up a brand new Manfrotto geared head for £65 including postage . (RRP £150). Should make star shots a lot easier !

Haven’t posted for a while, so probably ought to confess to a few more purchase sins over the last year

Pentax k1-ii (£1400)
Pentax 150-450 ($1000)
Pentax 24-70 (£500)
Pentax mz-7 and 28-70 lens with Lowepro small bag (£10)
Careell backpack (£75)
Pentax k-01 and 40mm Xs pancake lens (£150)
Sigma 70-300mm OS for video
Astrotrac
Pentax SMC 2x-S Teleconverter (£30)
Andoer 3 way tripod head (£20)

And sold a few :
Ioptron skytracker pro
Tamron 300mm f2.8 and adapters

As my GAS is getting out of control, I am intending to convert the K-01 to IR, sell my K-30 (aperture block fail) and sell the K3ii , plus any lenses that don’t fit in the new bag !
(My DA* 300 and 16-50 are feeling neglected since the 150-450 arrived)

Seeing it written down is horrifying ...

Need to sell some stuff !!!

If you like TLRs, watch for a Minolta Autocord. Excellent lens and ergonomics. Be careful if the focus is stiff; a part of the focus lever is made of a brittle alloy. I have the Autocord with a selenium meter, which works, mirabile dictu! But the EV system it uses is clumsy, I use a hand held meter.

The irony is that we buy Pentax so we can ‘keep using our old lenses’... ha ha ha.

My problem with TLR’s is poor vision. I love the idea but the execution is the challenge. (I have to sell my Asahiflexes - I just can’t focus them). My YashicaMat (not the 124G) focusing screen is very dim. It is old enough that it predates the good Tomioka taking lens too.

Focus was one factor that put me off 21/4 when I tried it for a while (Bronica S2). I could not reliably focus on the screen at waist level, it was always necessary to pop the magnifier into place and bend over to peer in. The other thing about the Bronica S2, too heavy, even when I was in my 20's, for my style of photography. However, the two lenses I had = 75mm f2.8 Nikkor standard and 250mm f4 short-mount Nikkor - were excellent.

Yeah, the Mat has the eye level finder. They’re cool and when I get it right the negs and prints are just beautiful.

wow great score, given how easily it adapts to a myriad of mirrorless cameras

There is a distance scale for a matched dioptre attachment, so I will have to look for one. Likely to cost more than the lens.

Just bought an inexpensive 50-200mm Pentax SMC DA f/4-5.6 lens for $75 on eBay--New!! Took some morning photos and was surprised at how good this lens is on my K-5ii--a little softness edgewise, but nice texture. Here's a couple of samples.

Just acquired an entire film kit as a hand-me-down. Included a Pentax MX, MX winder, SMC-K 24mm f/2.8, SMC-M 50mm f/1.4, SMC 45-125 f/4, a bunch of expired Tri-X, filters galore and a Vivitar flash.

Good luck. I’ve been hunting that diopter for years. Be advised, there were at least three versions of that lens, each with slightly different distance scales. The hood is 2-piece Metal.
