For 15€, a very nice Yashica ML 50/1.4 and a Leica lens presentation stand ...

For 15€ from the same junk bin seller, a Fujinon W 35/3.5 in M42 and a like new "aus Jena" (read CZJ) Flektogon 35/2.4 in M42 ... score for the Flektogon ... happy camper !!!
Félicitations ! j'écume les vide greniers depuis quelques temps et encore rien trouvé !

What time do you go there?

I need to set my alarm for 15 minutes before yours!

5x 60mm I/D rubber "O" rings.......
What diameter is the cross section of the rubber?

Only downside noted so far is that they fall off when you dismount the lens from the body, and so will probably get lost easily!
Try 58 or 59 mm instead of 60. Its OK to stretch them out a tiny bit.

Also, get the orange silicone o-rings. The material is slippery so it will slide easier while mounting and unmounting lenses, and it is more durable than ordinary rubber.

Any focus issues when using these 'O' rings? - especially wide open on faster lenses? They have to be putting a lot of stress on the lens mount (both body and lens), and pushing the lens ever so slightly further away from the sensor.
If the cross section of the rubber is .5mm or less it will conform to the void where the chamfer is on the camera side of the mount.

Just recently won a Sears TLS 1000 MX (rebadged Mamiya MSX 1000, instead of Spot metering it has Center-weighted metering.) Body wise, it looks more of a mash-up of the 1000 DTL and DSX/MSX 1000.
Will be getting it sometime later today.

This is "Sears"-badged camera #2, the 1st one is a Sears TLS (bought ~5 years ago) which is a rebadged Ricoh Singlex TLS.

The outside diameter (o/d) of the lens body just in front of the metal mount is 66mm (measured with a digital micrometer) and the internal diameter of the rings I have is (as stated in the previously-linked listing!!) 60mm (the o/d is 66mm) and they fit very snugly against the body. Rings smaller than that would be a pain to fit.

Wouldn't want to use silicone rubber because that is more "slippery" and so would be harder to fit to the lens and would fly off "somewhere" much more easily when the lens is removed from the body,

Anyway, this is a sort of experiment to see if the idea works, and I won't know that until I start shooting in the rain - but don't do that very often

That’s pretty cool.

I can’t get Mrs. Racer 2.0 to even look at a camera.

How many 28/2.8 lenses do you have now, John?

Way too many ... the Minolta is to attach to a X-700 that I am going to sell off.

And the Tamron AD-2 is for a friend if he wants it ... he shoots a Fujifilm X-T2 with some really, really nice Fujinon lenses.

He got me interested (more) in the Fuji X system after seeing his results and he was a factor in my acquisition of that used Fujifilm X-E1. I wish that Pentax could make a small mirror-less APS-C body like the "X's" ... the K-01 was not a bad idea in my books. Just not the best feature set and design ... enough said.

Amazon was so kind as to deliver me some additions to that used Fujifilm X-E1 ... a thumb rest and two adapters so that I can use my Pentax lens stable on it.

Here a PK-FX adapter with the M 20/4 on it. Quite small enough for some street work. The film canister is for scale.

Here a M42-FX adapter with the S-Tak 50/1.4 (v8) on it. They seem to play nice together ... two snaps from my backyard.

Very saturated, very nice-to-look-at images.
