A quick trawl of charity shops netted me

a Nikon F55 with 28-80 AF 3.5-5.6 and data back, plus manuals etc.
a Canon Eos 500N with 28-80 AF 3.5-5.6, plus manuals etc.
a Zuiko 1.8/50 for Olympus OM (unfortunately a couple of small chips in the front element) with a Vivitar x2 converter
some body and lens caps

total spend was £65, won't make a huge profit but it's helping a couple of good causes.

I picked up these beauties for a total of $100 on facebook marketplace, believe it or not. They're all in great condition. Guessing the sellers didn't know what they had. Us true Pentaxians know that these 4 pieces could easily sell for around $400 (if you go by KEH pricing, among other things). Gonna have some fun with some classic, well respected glass and bodies.

5x 60mm I/D rubber "O" rings in the hope that they might fit snugly around the K/KA-to-body mounting area when the lens is fitted to the body in order to improve water/"weather" ingress (especially for non-WR/AW lenses like my Sigmas) - and they actually do seem to do that quite nicely.

Only downside noted so far is that they fall off when you dismount the lens from the body, and so will probably get lost easily! Good job, then, I bought 5 of them from here for the princely sum of 99p - delivered from China! - if anyone is interested!
Updated: a few weeks after the above I went to an airshow where there was intermittent light rain, and so I fitted the rings over the joints between the Sigma 100-300 F4 & 1.4x T/C and then the T/C & the K-3 II body - in the first case, the ring dropped neatly into the small gap between the lens & T/C and filled it nicely, and in the second case the ring formed quite a nice seal following the line of the body (including the overhanging bit of the pentaprism). Of course, the rings fell off when the lens was dismounted, but I think the idea works reasonably well in practice nevertheless.

It’s so big!

Let’s see it mounted to a camera.

Then let’s see the images it creates.

Obligatroy "That's what she said?" :P

Ask and you shall receive. Mated to a K-5 IIs. Wish I had a full frame but this'll do nicely for now.

This lens has beautiful depth of field, color reproduction and bokeh. Here's some simple shots for now. Hopefully I'll be able to get some better ones soon.

I snagged this kit at a flea market yesterday. The camera cleaned nicely, everything works and the MC Rokkor-PF 55mm f/1.7 is immaculate. I just need to install new light seals and a mirror dempener.

A mostly good car boot fair day

Two Sigma AF lenses for Minolta - 24-50mm 4-5.6 working but has slight dust and possible fungus, and a 70-210 that appears to be dead - paid a fiver for the two so I can't complain.
Zenit B with Helios 44-2 and case for £15, and Zenit 12xp with Helios 44m-2 for £10, both bodies are faulty but the lenses are excellent, which is what I bought them for.
Nice clean Zeiss Ikon Contina J for a tenner
A changing bag for £2
A 72mm skylight, CF to PCMCIA adapter, and M42 to Eos adapter for £0.50 each
and three Apple video adapter cables for £0.50 each

total spend £45, should be profitable.

I could have got a Nikon AF 70-300 mm for £35 but the profit margin would be low (it's the cheap and nasty G version) so I decided not to risk it. Just as well, because I wouldn't have been able to buy the second Zenit if I'd bought the lens. Also a Sinar monorail camera for £200, but I didn't have the cash and don't know enough about them to risk buying one.

K-5lls and D-BG4 Battery Grip with AA tray. For the price I thought I would see what all the love for the 16Mp sensor is about. I’ll mostly use it with recently acquired screwdrive (bargain-priced) DA*16-50 and DA*50-135. I imagine I can sell that package for what I have in them sometime later.

Oh...nice kit! What is the larger lens to the left with the big "passed" sticker?

BTW...have fun with the mirror dampener foam...been there, done that...
