I went crazy and got 3 Sigma lenses before they're gone:
- Sigma 10-20 f3.5 EX
- Sigma 17-50 f2.8 EX
- Sigma 30 f1.4 Art

I also got the Adorama aversion of the Godox V1. I love it.

No more shooping for me this month. :P
I treated myself to a Sigma 10-20/3.5 last year. Great lens, I am very happy with it!

I treated myself for the Sigma 17 - 50 f2.8 to fit my Pentax K 5. Gotta get help for this GAS! (For the newcomers here, that's Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Always good to have an UW - Understanding Wife, or a US - Understanding Spouse.) .....Hmmmm.... Maybe just a filter or lens hood or...........

If my wife asks what was in that package that arrived today, I always say "Oh, it was just a filter" or "A lens cap" - no matter what was inside!

Just don't let her heft the package! A two pound "filter" is a little hard to swallow.....

Many years ago I had a Q/02 kit I hadn’t opened yet. My pristine K2DMD arrived a couple days later and I opened it in front of mrs monochrome, who exclaimed, “Gee. I want a cool new camera too - ooo - ooo” (You know that three-tone sound, often also applied to Dad or Dear)

Thinking fast - it was near her birthday - I said - well I do have a present for you. I can get it now if you want . . . . . .

I don’t bother with the lens cap gambit any more. I just bite the bullet, and lay low for a few months if I overstep..

For $60, I picked up a Canon Pixma Pro-1. This was a $1,000+ printer when it first came out. She was selling it low because she thought the print heads were clogged and she didn't want to mess with them. The heads are perfect. There's not a thing wrong with this printer. I just got a premium, 12 ink system printer for a steal of a lifetime.

Pictured with some test prints. The quality of this thing is incredible. I'm definitely going to put it to good use.

I think Canon had something similar, but they are much less common. I've had good results using a P-adapter and M42 lenses, even with a silver Tessar that would hit the aperture lever on a proper M42 camera.
I checked my lenses and they all get to infinity. *thumbs up

Yah a few months ago I picked up an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 for 10 bucks at a local goodwill. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just needed new ink.

It was apparently sitting there for over a week too, amazingly.

Sometimes people just don't know what they have. Their loss, our gain.

I'm actually really happy with my lens setup right now, but my last camera gear acquisition was the Helios 58mm f2. It's been fun!

Non-photography related I recently picked up a used Washburn bass guitar and Ampeg amp that I've been enjoying lots

I'm sure I read about this pick up on a Facebook group recently! Great acquisition by the look of it.

My latest item is the Fujinon 18-55mm f/2.8-4 for my X cameras. Finally I have a native lens longer than 35mm! I like primes so much more than zooms and could have gotten a 50mm f/2 or 60mm f/2.4 macro for not much more, but there are times when the flexibility of a zoom is really needed. I was at a wedding a month ago and really noticed the lack of a zoom and the lack of anything longer than 35mm. The ceremony was surprisingly well lit so the slower aperture wouldn't have been an issue.
