By the way tried to fix the winder but it is far beyond repair, the leaking batteries have melted all the contacts and tiny wires attached to them.
Those are the same brand of battery's I use for my Sekonic lightmeter, though I use the sr44 variant.

Sucks about the winder too

Pentax ME Super 35mm SLR with 50mm.

I now only am missing an LX but this is too rich for my blood even now.

I also must be the only person that wants and uses a ever ready case! Looking for MX cases. The ME came with one.

I too like eveready cases and try keep each of my user bodies in one.

Good luck finding an original Pentax Case MX in usable condition.
In years of searching any I found had cracked and peeling vinyl.
Pentax fitted cases from that time were inferior and degraded quickly.

You might have better luck with a third party "universal" SLR case.
I bought a couple of nice ones for the ME from Pacific Rim Camera.

Good luck,
Chris

Athough I dont have the film duplicator from Pentax, I bought this:

PENTAX Halter für Filmmaske - RICOH IMAGING DEUTSCHLAND GmbH

PENTAX Maske 24x36 - RICOH IMAGING DEUTSCHLAND GmbH

For my DSLR film scan setup, this is way better than the flimsy Lomography Digitaliza stuff. Expensive though. But hey, it's for Ricoh/Pentax. I'll get the medium format masks as well.

A few weeks ago, I was hesitating between two second hand 300mm lenses: A DA*300 and a Tamron model 360B.

After hesitating (and a thread on the pentaxforum), I went for the DA*300 while proposing a lower price for the Tamron.

And...

Look what came this morning...

I purchased my second Pentax HD DA 1.4X converter from an eBay seller for about $20 mote than I sold my first one for last year. So far, initial testing says it works better with my 60-250 than my Tamron-F MC4 Px , but seems like a draw with the vintage 300 SMC-F* F 4.5. Actually, this is a good thing since the Tamron/F* 300 combo has produced some nice birding photos since I acquired a KP body. Might as well leave that pair together.

actually I found such cases ( not original ) for my ME Super and Super Program

the ME Super fits fine and the Super Program is close enough to use

The only bit of my MX that is worn out is the ever ready case. The spotmatic case is in better shape and a decade older.
