My 85 arrived. I may have a go at cleaning the front elements from fungus (not very much). It's focus is a bit grindy, aperture sometimes slow to respond. Front and rear element have cleaning marks, but it only cost a third of a pristine copy.

Some days are like Christmas and multiple lenses arrive. The Tamron SP Adaptall-2 60-300mm 1:3.8-5.4 (23A) looking virtually unused and with proprietary hood (Bayonet mount)

My latest acquisition is the famous K1000. I bought it thinking to just add it to my collection of Pentax cameras but I've got a roll of Ilford HP5 in it right now.

I have one of these in similarly good condition. I love it! I am sure you will also.

The macro can be a bit tricky to engage if the lens has been standing for some time.

You tell me!

Here is what I received today, for a total of 90$ CAD including shipping.

The camera appears in perfect shape, I don't have the means to test it quickly but I will try to see how things go.

The 35-70 is a lens I've long wanted to use, seems like a fun and cute little lens. This copy has a broken section on the filter ring, but filters still mount (it shipped with a Hoya UV (0) filter).

The real rainfall is, of course, the 1.7X TC with AF... that one is of course what made me purchase the kit! It is, I believe, the only TC able to autofocus while covering the full frame image circle.

Physically, it is slightly thicker, but not by much, when compared with the HD 1.4X TC WR. I've always liked the F-line look with red lettering and dark gray colorway. This particular copy appears to be in perfect shape, physically like new. Both lenses are missing their caps, either front or back, but I have spares.

I've tried it briefly with the 35-70, it seems to work flawlessly, AF is impressively fast (as long as the lens is manually pre-focused). I've also mounted it on the 60-250, my longest lens (modified for FF). The camera doesn't recognize the focal length, but since I will likely use it at 250mm, it's not a bother (and I doubt I will use SR much, so the focal length isn't absolutely required.

No test pictures for the moment, I will try to get interesting results soon.

It really feels like Christmas!

And the lot of compacts came in

Ok I already found a stash of holiday images on one of the sd cards.

2. I've got a working Canon ixus 130. In the lot so at least it was 15 euro's well spent.

No pics, but I grabbed a bunch of rocks from the beach, to use in my rock garden landscaping. Probably only 80 lbs or so, but when you’re transporting them in a kayak already loaded with fishing gear, it does add some work to the trip home! Oh, fish - many, me - zero. As usual.

Is that legal in your area?I’m aware some States have laws against that sort of thing.

"Off course a silver*K3*and grip why forget the bag !"

The expression 'forget the bag' means, "I am not looking at the new bag you are showing us because that silver K3 is so beautiful."
