????? If you use the K-R mount, you get the pin. The regular PK/A should be safe, though care should be taken to always have the aperture ring set to maximum opening when attaching/detaching the adapter.

How did you work around the lack of M/F switch on the M42 adapter?

Steve
The one that jammed has been damaged and thrown out. I am sure it was marked PKA but I think the box was labelled Pentax Ricoh. That was my only problematic one and it's gone now.

I have taped the stopdown pin with a brightly coloured plastic tape, so if the tape gets damaged I can find the particles. So far so good.

Both now done and paid for! A very welcome update while work is trying to grind me down.
Hopefully should be back to me before the end of the week. Can't wait!
AND THEY'RE IN!
They both click beautifully on shutter press, both work splendidly when firing, both meter beautifully and neither with festive, flickering lights.
I might even chuck a roll of something in one/both of them tonight and take one/both out for a spin this weekend!

Got the teeny flash for the Nex 5. Paid £5.49 including postage and seems to work OK once I realised that it's disabled in the the "three bracketed shots" mode the camera was set to.

Probably paid too much, $69.99 winning bid, but it was in much better condition than I usually see them.
Is that a crack across the front of the lens (crossing the A in Yashica)?

Another job lot with some unusual items - in fact I bought it because I could see they were a bit out of the ordinary, although I must admit that I'd identified a couple wrongly from the photo. For £33 including P&P I got

A Pentacon Six x2 teleconverter, also a Pentacon 6 extension tube with double cable release, a Pentacon 6 to Exakta Varex adapter, and a couple of other weird P6 accessories.
Teleconverters for Nikon F, Mamiya SR, and M42
A generic M42 microscope adapter
A Nikon flash cable
Some other odds and ends

Should be fairly profitable.
