Even though the combo is heavy, it feels very balanced. I like how the lens body matches the K-mount mirror box portion of the KP's body.
The Sigma 17-50/2.8 is a superb lens with really great rendering. It's especially good to blues, so clear skies or the blue hour are good times to give it a workout.
