Got the Pentax 110 caps today - a bit of a tight fit because there's some threads of plastic in areas under the flanges of the bayonet, but it soon goes away if you put them on and off the lens a few times. My friend is also running me off a few Exakta caps for a fraction of the price on eBay. I have a feeling I may be tempting him toward the photographic side of the Force, up to now he's mostly printed stuff for role playing games. But I'm not going to start getting all my caps from him, it just isn't worthwhile for a lot of the more common sizes, it's cheaper to buy five or ten at a time from China.

May I ask where you bough the Weld-On 3?
i sent you a private message but I got no reply...

That's a nice looking body with an even nicer looking lens. What fun!

Well lately I'm into buying cheap but good condition second hand mirrorless cameras. So my most recent purchases have included a Samsung WB150F (a steal at only €30), a very nice Canon EOS M10 which produces excellent quality results from its APSC sensor and a mint Panasonic Lumix GF7 which I've fallen in love with.

They might not have all the features of a DSLR but it makes you stop and think about your photography a lot more. It's a bit like driving a beaten up old car that you don't have to worry about parking.

Thank you. I am not so sure about the body looking nice TBH. It's a bit flash for me, but as I say it is supposed to be an investment. The FM2/t is, as mir.com says, not just lighter but also smoother running than your run of the mill FM2. Those Voiglander Ultron SLs (especially the original ones) are my favourite lenses for film cameras.

Lightbox, 3d printed negative carrier holder got delivered. Carrier fits perfectly onto the lightbox, which will used down the road to digitize my 35mm film.

Very nice. I’ve been using it’s older brother, the Super-Takumar (7 element but radioactive I believe) for the SIC this month (as well as for other pics).
Very nice and capable lens.

SMC will be your lens' older brother... also 7 element. the 8-element won't be SMC. I have either the Sup-Tak or SMC Tak 7-element and love it. The 8th element I will one day when it appears as a bargain (wait long enough and it will happen).

On a non-Pentax note:

Just got a Sony A35 to use my Minolta AF glass... mostyl 50/1.7 and beercan 75-210/4... Now I also got a first version minolta 50/2.8 macro...
