If you want small, light, fast focusing and very affordable telephoto lens with quite usable image quality, you might want this small Sigma DC 55-200/4-5.6, which I got for about $35...

An old review:

I have the full-frame contemporary, Sigma DG 70-300mm f4-5.6. It's actually quite good on the K1, to my surprise.

I might be wrong but I believe any latest acquisition is allowed here, it's the Off-topic forums, after all.
But my latest acquisition is picking up a Takumar 200mm f4 today, with original case, Perrin Sportsman case, about 8 old Vivitar filters and original receipt from April 1970. $25 and the glass looks almost like new. Havent tried it out yet but I enjoyed finding it
There is a baffle tube at the mount end of that lens type that is glued in. When I got mine the glue had failed so initially I used it without the baffle tube in place. Result was badly fogged pictures. Glued it back in with an easily broken grade of loktite in case I ever needed to remove it. Lens now works as expected.

This whole website is dedicated to Pentax and photography related equipment. And if we are talking about latest acquisitions, one would expect things like various cameras no matter which brand or type, lenses, filters, flashes, teleconverters, tripods, bags, backgrounds, printers, even pentax binoculars etc.. And if you go through pics, you can see a lot of these, which is perfectly fine and interesting.

But a vintage radio, saw or piece of rail? Really? What about daily grocery? Today I bought few liters of milk! Look! And a bread and bag of potatoes..

C'mon guys. Please.

How many bags do you actually own? It feels like you've bought a bunch...

True, I have bought - and sold or given away - many.
I still don't have a bag for every camera.
How many is too many?

It should be noted that others here collect numerous cameras, lenses etc. as well...

Oh sure, IIRC there's at least one person on the forum with something like fifty 50mm lenses.

I really need to set up a grab 'n go kit.

Without any sides it would have spilled and made a great mess.
