Why, RH, thanks for overloading my bandwidth with your massive fake picture. I really appreciate it a lot.

It is no real fake, it is the MZ-D prototype which never made it to production and was indeed named K1.

As RiceHigh still lives a couple years behind he maybe did not understand that there was no 35mm sensor for quite a time, if ever but oh well....

Darn it people, I hate thoes who keep bringing up the old MZ-SD (now the K1) I loved that body and design and sooooo wanted and was expecting it to come out many moons ago. Yes Yes I know of all the problems but I still want the body. Of course with a few minor corrections like a vert. shutter release, updated AF/AFpoints and larger LCD but overall it was a nice body. and I still love my film MZ-S. ohh the humanity. thanks... camera depressed again...

Just give me a day, and I promise that the picture will look better than the K1D

And a wheel to control aperture otherwise, there'd be a big problem with those DA lenses

Well, the first pic is poorly done clone job on K10D with grip IMO...
RH's pic is reall but see Thibs' post for explanation...
And as for Ben's opinion. Makes sense that when he didn't write agianst K200D pics they may be reall. If they are. We are just about to get another beauty from Pentax...

How many lens release buttons are in that picture? I count two, and two IR receivers for the remote
Because when your holding the camera on either grip youre blocking the IR reciever..duh. This way as you hold and look through the viewfinder with one hand the free hand can swing around and point the remote at the open reciever from the front to release the shutter....sheesh.:lol

My first thought when I saw the picture was that it was a fake, but since everyone else thinks that maybe I should defend the the possibility. Maybe Pentax added those artefacts to the picture on purpose in case it would leak out so that people would THINK it was a fake? But I HOPE it is a fake, I don't like the design.

I would prefer a DA* 29/1.2 :-)
But I agree it unlikley to promote a K1D with the 'old' 16-45.
