Yeah, I think that there are way more shots with the native lenses than with adapted telephoto ones if you check the Q forum. "Share your shots with a Q" and "Pentax Q street shots - post them here" house most of them, quite a bunch with the fish-eye actually.

hey david, glad to hear another pentaxian in richmond...and thank you so much for the offer but i have already seen the light and ordered 1 earlier today from target...i have learned so much from this forum and i have spent so much as well...oh well, sorry kids...mom isn't going to leave you anything but camera equipment

I doubt that you would lose any significant money if you don't like it, but considering how few that are unhappy with their Q I doubt it.
How old are the kids? If they are young Q can be their way into photography.

Maybe my wish of seeing a Q on the end of a Sigma 500mm will come true now!

Now, to ascend to the next level of the Q you must order the Pentax K-Q adapter and non-optional foot. Once those have arrived, you will be contacted again.

The Pentax OEM Adapter has a cutout on the bottom for the foot that fits the DA*300. They are available by ordering directly from parts at Pentax USA for around $50.
