I think you can make a case for computer-based software synths, but DX7? Seriously? Does anyone other than Brian Eno actually program one, and mainstream electronic music artists at that? That's the first time I hear this (FM8 on the other hand has a considerable user base but not nearly as much as software Virtual Analogs).

I do believe some people (who actually use cameras daily for work) will try EVFs but a number of them will go back to OVFs. Quite a few won't make the switch unless EVFs change a lot from where they are now. That's of course just my opinion.
