So it's back to 6fps now. Source?

I think the second wheel bears mentioning in the spec.

What exactly do you mean by "intro-level"? Is that your phrase, or is Pentax using it? This camera is beyond what I consider intro level. No other basic DSLR's have WR and two dials. This is advanced amateur level IMO.

Id call it mid level, the second dial makes all the difference

That was a typo- it now says mid-range. Some say that the K-30 has 6FPS

The D5100 and the T3i do not have two dials. If their subsequent iterations don't come with two dials, the K30 is going to be brilliant in comparison.

Yes, I know, but did someone credible say it to you?

Now that I've gotten used to two dials it feels weird to pick up my Kx with its one dial. I may have to find out if a camera store in the Nashville TN area will be carrying one of these, or even carrying anything Pentax. I really want to try one out.

BTW, did I mention that Monday afternoons are my favorite time of the week? It's great to relax after a long day's work and surf PF then!

Out of curiosity, what's the latest on weather sealing? Some of the hubbub yesterday mentioned that this is a WR body, but all of the photos show the standard non-WR lenses. What's the scoop?

It's a WR camera, but will be sold together with non-WR lens kits.
