K-30 Hands-on Review on Pentax Singapore Facebook ...

Some of you already knew that I've got a beautiful K-30 w/ me. Only got the camera this afternoon, but couldn't get chance to play until we've put the kids in bed. It's almost midnight here already, photos are lousy, but I'm sure you wanna see some photos from a real Pentaxian, don'tya

Haven't got much time to play it yet. All I can say that this is a great little camera, most closer to a K-5 than to a K-r.

I've post some photos on our Pentax Singapore Facebook:

Will post more hands-on reviews in the next a few days. Stay tuned...

Thanks a lot for the post, Frank.
May I ask you a question? What are your impression about AF speed and consistency on K30 compare to K5?
Thank you in advance.

Is it just me or is there a small gap between the flash and the body?

Thanks for the great website in Singapore and the wonderful pics - you should handle publicity for Pentax

Looks like a great camera. A lot of us were saying that K5 was such an achievement, they should continue the model for several years - well, looks like Pentax listened, or at least came to the conclusion themselves.

Kind of looks like a flange to me - the lens mount might protrude slightly.

Tiny thing though, isn't it? Looks a little funky and different - both good to separate it from the crowd.

It looks like the LV/Delete button is modal. In shooting mode, it engages LV. In Playback/Instant review mode, it functions as Delete.

That's my logical guess. We'll see when we get the manual online.
