New K-30, did you remember the $20 2-year extended warranty?

You could ask the Pentax USA Facebook guy, he was the only one who knew what he was talking about in terms of K-30 release date. He told me it "had already shipped" that following week, and that it would "be in shelves this week", and before you knew it, 2 days later that same week the K-30 popped up in-stock on Amazon and BHPhotovideo.

I have learnt to always go for an extended warranty on Apple laptops.... I'm on my 6th and 5 have gone wrong in the 2nd or 3rd year.

Well I appreciate your monitoring here. Several folks have asked if the K-5 warranty card will work for the K-30 and I've told them that since it's for "K" cameras it should, but to check. I appreciate your confirming that it works for the K-30.

Yes, but you need BOTH the warranty card itself and BOTH receipts for it to be valid (camera and warranty). Congratulations!

Thanks, so many Pentax warranties at Adorama I had to call to confirm which to get for the K30, it's SKU: IPXEWKX.

Will you be updating the page to specify that the K-5/K-r/K-X (I assume) warranty will cover the K-30 as well? The alternative, I expect, will be an endless series of questions on the issue.
