Simplistic.
I am using my Tamron 70-300mm for the macro capability. I haven't figured out how to use it for standard zoom shots though. Purple fringing and lack of detail, softness is very evident.
But, again, I like the macro capability of this older lens.

Round here we make some bonfires at easter. This time i stayed longer and got the opportunity to shoot the fire fighters doing their job. Shot with a Ricoh 50mm mostly at f/2.8 Had a hard time to get the focus right. But I got some nice keepers:

I've been trying to get a shot of this tiny robin that visits our garden for a few seconds a couple of times a day, and for a change he came close to the house and I got this (cropped) shot through a window...Tamron 70-200/2.8 @f4.5

Used my K-30 in the drizzly rain yesterday to snap my daughter jumping her horse at a local show. Still getting the hung of using a DSLR. Had a lot of water dripping off the barrel of the lens!

Yellow jump using the kit lens SMC 55-200mm WR on Tv 1/400s with +0.7EV (2/3rds) as it was a rather dull day. F4.5 focused on the jump to start with f=115mm and ISO400.

Pentax K30 with 18-135mm WR lens and 50mm F1.8.. Apology for heavy post processing since am still in learning phase.
