Had another go with the astrotracer last weekend when camping on the shore of Lake Champlain NY. Had the opportunity to try my new Tokina AT-X 828 80-200 f/2.8 (manual focus). I'm a bit disapointed by it. CA not as bad as I expected but star images are far from being point like. But I cannot really complain since this is a 220$ lens and not a 2200$.
1- M8-M20 6 X 20 s iso 2000 with Tokina @ 200 f/2.8
2- Antares - M4 and some of rho Ophiucus nebulosity 6 X 30s iso 2000 with Tokina @ 200 f/4.0
3- The Milky Way over Lake Champlain NY. Burlington VT is on the horizon. 2 min with 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 AL WR @ 18 mm f/3.5
4- The Lion and Coma Berenices setting in the West. 1 min with 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 AL WR @ 18 mm f/3.5
