Had not visited in quite some time, some lovely pictures posted here again. I dusted off my K-30 after several months of disuse because I am getting a view at lovely sunrises from my apartment. Here's an example.

Pentax K-30 + M 50mm F1.7, through several layers of glass with dirt on the outside

Long time - no see. Aperture servo sometimes cough but works in 95% cases..I hope it hold until K70 arrives

Dynamic range? Yeah, we got it. Flash didn't fire, file was black when I opened it in LR. +5 stops of exposure and...

with the flash for comparison

Yes I could have gone lower ISO and slower shutter but on this outing, I was also capturing birds in flight so didn't want to change too many settings.
