Nice work with the Lensbaby... I only have the original 1.0, which actually my daughter has now... these new Lensbabies look like excellent & fun lenses.
Thank you! I am far far away from mastering the Lensbaby but I picked it up for a bargain and I have always admired pictures taken with a Lensbaby. Now I can try to do it myself but it's not an easy feature

This picture is amazing. Can you tell me exactly how you did this with the K-30?

Great pic! I somehow felt bad for all the wedding couples at the Meji shrine.
When I was there me, including tons of tourists were taken their pictures
Still hate myself for forgetting my super wide angle lens at the hotel...

Thanks, mate!
For that particular panorama I took six shots and stitched them together using ArcSoft Panorama Maker.
The shots taken had the following settings:

- manual exposure (at F11 and ISO 100 I got the shutter speed of 1/100s)
- shot RAW
- picture style ("Custom Image") set to "Bright" (you can use "Natural" or "Landscape" as well)
- focal length 26mm (turn off Auto Focus; use the same focal length for all the shots)
- ensure that you have a 25% to 50% overlap between consecutive photos, otherwise the software will have difficulties to stitch them together
- it's reccommended to use a tripod, but you can take the shots handheld with some extra caution.
- when developing in LR I use the lens profile tool to correct distorsions for all the photos, then slightly add some clarity and vibrance if needed (same amounts for all the pictures)
- stitch the photos using ArcSoft Panorama Maker
- use LR again on the final panorama for slight adjustments if necessary

Good luck!

From the Vans US Open of Surfing last month, taken from the pier with the 18-135 WR lens.

Still learning this camera, but the more I play with it the more I like it!

And from yesterday, learning to use the M50 f/2 I picked up with a K1000 SE basically for free once I sell off the Nikon equipment that came with the package.

Went late to a HillClimb they do in Reading, PA but got a couple of shots from which I think I got the contagious Bimmer Fever.
