Not for any of the shots above. For me, anything slower than 1/4sec is pushing it handheld, but i think all those were faster than that.
What mode were you shooting in?

I was using spot (or center-weighted) metering, and TAv, so I can control both shutter speed and aperture.

First posting -- Sierra sunset

We just took our first trip with the K-30 -- after almost a thousand pictures, I am delighted with this camera. Anyway, here is my first attempt to post:

The image above was originally 7 meg but was reduced to 78k for a blog posting, so the quality may have suffered. The color is almost exactly right, believe it or not -- it was a garish sunset in the Eastern Sierra, just north and east of Yosemite.

Wow there are some amazing photos in this thread. I'll go ahead and post some of mine anyway. I've had the K-30 a week now. I've mostly used a Sigma 30mm f/1.4, but sometimes an old manual Pentax 50 mm f/2.

I'm using my iPad, and will be grabbing pics from my photostream, so they're a bit small - but iirc we're not supposed to post huge pics anyway, so that'll probably be a good thing. Here goes...

This makes me very happy. It was taken from my front yard, and I hadn't actually been planning on any astrophotography that night. I just decided to have a to - and I ended up with one of my best.

And even my 6 year old son can use it (He actually got a really good shot of my father in law, but I'll stick with this one of me ... Hello )
