Nice looking selfie... I don't know if I ever posted this selfie in here before for here we go. Still kit lens but the cheaper non WR version. Still amazes me sometimes.

When you hit focus, you do hit it pretty good and it shows the good points of this lens.

Sorry for spaming. But I let the camera to focus itself in the "native" (non LV) mode and 5 point configuration. It would be nice to know how it selects the point. (I haven΄t used SLR with an AF before the K30)

I think, out of my head... press the "select/ok" button for a second or two and it will beep and change the point selection. You may have to change the AF settings from the INFO button before hand. INFO--->AF mode---> select the point selection i believe... somebody correct me with the wording because I know it's not exactly as it appears on the camera and I am not with my DSLR at this moment.

Two more tries of the same bridge, 10sec exposures tonight under a clear sky, full moon, and unfortunately no aurora.

Oh, both lovely. Really nice in colour, and excellent B&W too.

I am so thankful I have gotten into photography. I see my friends post professional portraits of their children on Facebook, which are great. But I get to take photo's like this any time. Even while my daughter is sitting down patiently occupying herself while I am waiting for my niece (who I was there to photograph).

And the reason I was there... My niece off to her Prom.
