I'm not the person who shot this video, but I believe it is well worth posting here. Be sure to watch it in fullscreen HD. You'll first have to click the red title bar or the Vimeo link in the lower-right corner to accomplish that.

That's a very well-done demo reel.

The guy definitely knows his videography. He makes it look easy. Who knows, though? Maybe it isn't too hard. I shot many hours of video in the 1990s, some of it with pretensions of being artsy. Maybe I could do it even better with a K-30 (etc.).

By the way, your K-30 review is excellent. You combined formal, technical and conversational styles extremely well -- and in a way that is very inviting to all readers.

jus to share some shots fr the k30

1)

2)

pardon the poor image quality as i lifted them off fb. but what i can say the k30 retains pentax's strength in the shadows even with 12 bit raw. AF is definitely fast and prob the most precise so far. loving it...

Experimenting with my old Raynox Macro Add-on ontop of the 18-135mm:

The raynox was cheap as chips so quite happy with the results all in all.

Jpg's

all shots greatly enlarged and cropped.... taken of birds high up in gum trees with an 18-135 lens. ... I did not go out intending to shoot birds or animals otherwise I would have used my 55-300ml. Wanted to see how the K30 and 18-135 perform...and found these birds and roos on my walk through a reserve

cheers

quick shots with the 31 Limited

loving it so far...coming from a Sony A77 ( very disappointing) and I see a huge difference in ISO ability as well as IQ
