I've neglected my funky old Sears 75-260mm since getting the K-30, mostly because I have a couple new 'toys' (Sigma 10-20mm and a 50mm 1.4).

I dusted it off and took it with me to the playground. I'm kind of learning how to focus peak on the fly, and it works well in situations like this. It also reminds me why I love this lens so much - you don't usually get results like this with an old legacy zoom. The constant aperture/internal focus for the lens helps though. Riding f/4.5 right through to the 260mm end of the zoom is handy on a cloudy gloomy day when your kid just wants to play in the puddles.

This particular home was unoccupied. I don't usually take them, but since this one was empty and beautiful, well....

A few landscapes

For the first 2 shots, I was actually running out of time to get back before the Mrs and kids woke up.
I had ventured (by an early bus) down the mountain thinking that I could easily catch a bus back the other way too.
But...hmm..... no bus on the return.
Had to do light jog/walk back up and I'm really thankful I was using a Pentax K30 with just 3 small primes in the bag (and not some back breaking Canikon system)

You know, in Puerto Rico you can get a conch meat salad or "carrucho salad" sooooo delicious! It might be a strange/exotic type of meal for you guys but It is something I find as normal as eating a big mac! Look it up, "carrucho salad" and check how it looks.

Great shot. Love the focus on your son's face and the muddy splash caught in action. Nice!

http://www.flickr.com/photos /92729962@N04/8558996932/meta/ The pool and hot tub lights were on timers and shut off before this shot was taken. The lights were on and the house and tree tops were cut off in the photo I replaced. I liked the lights on but I do like this perspective better also.

night pic; lens was 18-135, set at 18mm, iso 800, f 8, 6 sec. I haven't uploaded many photos so I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to include data. I put the pics on flicker, I suppose there's a way to include the data when uploading from lightroom!? There's so many fine shots on this site,,,,,,,,,. gotta love this forum!

If you are uploading to flickr from LightRoom there should be a setting in there to allow it, and even to allow a certain amount of detail in the data.

In the LR Publishing Manager which shows you all the Publishing websites you have setup on your program, you can click on whatever publisher you use, which I assume you already did Flickr and on the right side of the windows scroll down to Metadata, and there is a drop down with different setting of metadata to publish and it other "check box" types of settings.

Hope this helps.

Thanks BigJPR, I'll pay more attention next time I upload and add (or allow) the info to be included.

When I started and found this settings out. I set them up and haven't look at them since. Pretty convinient, hope I remember where the setting is when I become more serious with photography and need to a change to reflect that. lol
