Some really nice shots being posted in this thread. I've had my K30 for just under a month and still no joy with the weather. It's either very cold, snowing or we're under a torrential down pour. Yesterday there was finally a break in the weather we had blue sky and temps in the 50's (Fahrenheit), unfortunately I had to work.

I was able to take a very short break and shoot this goose down by the creek in front of the work place, I even got a pose.

I always shoot to learn as well as capture the moment. In the case of this photo I intended to work on DOF. I wanted to get the goose in focus with out of focus back and front I did that in this shot which turned out to be the first and only shot I was able to take.

Shot with the Pentax 18-250 @ 200mm, F7.1, ISO 200, Shutter Speed of 1/500.

The higher ISO capability of the K30 over my 200d is making a big difference to me. Great shots on this post!
