When one is deciding on a DSLR, looking at the pictures the camera is putting out from other photo hobbyists. The range of subjects of pictures posted here are fantastic and the quality of the pictures are top notch. Making a decision to buying my next make DSLR a no brainier.

I want thank everyone for posting your pictures, excellent work from everyone.

I can't say that I'm a close-up fan, but...

18-55 WR, maximum focal length, minimum focus distance, "manual" focus (modified the shooting distance until I got what I needed).

Selection of photos taken off the coast of New Zealand. All taken with the 18-135mm kit lens, but I have ordered the 50-500mm OS Sigma lens which will be here in a few weeks. Looking forward to the extra zoom and not relying on heavy cropping!
