The sun peeked out for a couple hours after two days of fog. Our dog now recognizes when I sling my camera across my body that maybe, just maybe, we might go for a WALK! I saw nothing truly inspiring today, other than a chance to practice a more difficult lighting situation when our dog plopped down for a rest in the shade.

K-30 with DA 18-135 at 60mm, P mode, ISO 100, 1/250 at f/6.7 .... tweaked in Photoshop Elements 11.

Last week I shot this with a Porst Color Reflex MC 55mm/1.2 manual lens. It's a crop.

I just received my Rokinon 35/1.4. I was taking some photos for eBay listings and was shocked with the results. I have only had my k30 a week now, and both the body, and this lens, have far exceeded my expectations. This was a product shot done at ISO 1600, 1/5, f7.1 w/ AWB and under a kitchen light none the less.
