It finally stopped raining today although it is still cloudy and gloomy. It was a chance to try out my new B+W ND 106 filter for some water blur effects. Composition is nothing fancy just a test of the filter and camera at the nearest water fall in Forest Park in Springfield, MA. Had to post process to increase the Ev by +1 for the water (non blur) picture.

Canadian Warplane Airshow

I went to an evening airshow on saturday. The first shot is tha Avro Lancaster at sunset, the second is a Grummon Ag Cat, modified for stunt flying, this photo was taken in pitch dark at iso 10,000. Although poor quality it is great to have a record of the event!

A couple (out of *many* yet to be processed…) from our cruise to Alaska last week. Both K-30 with 18-135WR:

Margerie Glacier from about a half-mile out

Moonrise about 11 pm that same evening, from our suite's balcony (handheld!)

From earlier today, finally got the motivation up to take my camera out again. All were taken with my Sigma Mini-Wide II 28mm, which I've grown to really like.
Love the Truck!!!

A few shots along Whitemans Creek near Burford, Ontario.
Still stubbornly using the Tamron 70-300mm.

I like #1 here a lot. A type of Hawthorn, if I'm not mistaken.
