Binging on black and white lately

Don't know why, guess I just need a little noir in my life. I didn't shoot these in black and white, just converted them after. The landscapes are with the 18-135mm WR, and the kitten is with the DA 50mm f1.8.

1) raining soon after sunrise
2) my friend's kitten through the window screen
3) monochrome rainbow

Ingleside Ontario. If you look as the exif you'll see I was very close to being exactly 45.000 N 75.000 W.

Tried my hand at some star photography last night. The K-30 impressed me, as did the Sigma 18-35 F1.8. I live in a rural area in Australia with little light pollution, so that helps.

That's pretty cool the way you end up with point stars in the sky, and star streaks reflecting in the water! Great shots...

@RoxnDox Thanks! That's the magic of O-GPS1!

@curlednoodles Incredible for a 20 s shot! Now I see why people around here pay many many 1000's of dollars to get a chance to shoot the night sky in the australian backcoutry.

Yea, thanks! I think its more to do with the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8. Such a capable lens!

Not the best Eurofighter Typhoon shots, it was a rainy dull day and needed severe cropping due to only 200mm FL on Tammy 70-200 @f5, but I'm pleased and the AF was easy on the K-30........
