HD-DA 20-40, K-30. Both are a 3-shot HDR merged in Lightroom from 3 separate raw files, handheld. Rock Creek and Nenana River valleys in Denali National Park

I guess it's about time to post a couple of newer shots in this thread, haven't done it in a while.

A few I'm kinda pleased with...

Black Vulture. They never let me this close, this one was in a residential neighborhood where I guess they see people a lot, sat there and watched me.

Frog that decided to set up housekeeping in my bird box. Macro taken with Makinon 135mm and 55mm extension tubes, flash used.

Prothonotary Warbler, the previous resident in the same nesting box.

Another macro, same rig, not as sharp as I might like but how often do you get a bee flying with a macro rig at all...no flash, natural sunlight.

Last hurrah with the K-30 before start finding a new home for it, DA10-17 Fisheye with flash. I've always complained about the TTL flash lag with K-30 but the last few times I used it with flash I turned all the in camera correction off and the lag is much more manageable.

It's a good lens, my new favorite! I mostly have Pentax primes but the Helios hasn't hardly been off the camera in a month.
