I got the 18-135 kit. That's all I plan on getting right now.

I received mine yesterday and so far I'm loving it. It will replace my K-5, plagued with low light focus issues. No problems so far with K30, definitely much more accurate focusing in low light, at least compared to my K-5.The only thing I don't like is the grip...I find K-5's more comfortable for my hand. Bought from Pentaxwebstore.sg for AUD650, express shipping included, quite a bargain.

Got my K-30 last Thursday. Can't be happier. Maybe the lens (FA 50mm 1.4) needs some tweaking with fine adjustment, but I'm glad I got the hood. Now I need to save for a new lens. Maybe the Sigma 17-50 2.8?

Just got a white K30 in UK.

I've been a Canon abuser for a few years but I like the high ISO quality and other abilities so thought I'd try it out.
Takes some getting used to coming from another camera but images look good.
I can't find a way to lock AE when AE-L is used for AF tho.

Its a big pain in the butt to change camera systems as I have a good collection of Canon lenses now but I'm a sucker for shiny white

I have a few days to compare before I decide.

Using 35mm f2.4 and Tamron 18-250mm (I'm also a lazy photog )

I bought a Crystal Blue K-30 over Labor Day weekend, and have only had a few hours with it, but so far, I'm lovin' it. Everything my K-x or K-r did well, it does a little better, and the things they didn't do so well, it seems to do well. The K-30 gets AF lock in low-light situations where the others would give up.

I've had mine for about 2 weeks and I love it. I got the kit from Costco.com that included the 18-55 DAL, an 8G memory card, a camera bag, and a free Optio WG-1 (which I promptly gave to my fiancée). First DSLR, but not my first Pentax.

That's certainly non-traditional, but I suppose it's cheaper than a diamond ring...
