Contrary to the advice above, I'll be selling my K-r. I'm not made of money, and a happy wife is counting on me selling the K-r.

Hehe, my wife also forced me to sell my K-r. She regrets it now as I am already looking to buy a second K-30 as a back up

My Red K-30 should be here this weekend. I'll keep my Red K-x (broken LCD ) for a backup. It still works, just in 2 modes... Sport and Video.

I've had my k-30 a couple of weeks now. Used it yesterday at my son's 30th birthday party. It is the first time I've used it other than for taking pictures to figure out the camera.

Got mine a month ago, and added the 18-135mm DA and the 50mm 1.8 DA. Can't wait to use it, but I live in Florida and it keeps raining. I started shooting as a kid, as my dad was a pro, and now I am. I used to be an avid Canon user, but just felt like I needed a change. Booo Nikon!!(except for Nikkor glass).

I hope Pentax DSLR is as good as their medium format cameras. Mazel Tov!

I sold 1 of my 2 K-01's to buy a K-30 at the current closeout sale. I also sold my Samsung GX-10 (Pentax K10d clone).

This way I still have 2 Pentax-K bodies and have the convenience of a compact powerhouse (K-01 + 40mm XS) and also a versatile, Weather resistant DSLR with viewfinder (K-30). So far I really love my current, all Pentax setup:
