I went from K-x to K-7 then K-5 and K-30, believe me , your fingers will adapt to more buttons and dials very quickly.

loved it

I loved that video. Aren't you glad that shake reduction is built into the body. Using a bed cover for protection is overkill.

On the plus side, you have your solution now. Click, turn to the side, flick with the finger.

Skip the mad shaking in between.

If you're saying you don't like the redesigned grip with the K-30, I'm with you. I thought the K-R, K-5, K-X, K-7 and K-20 all felt better in my hand.

The K-30 just doesn't do it for me fit wise. The middle of my index finger falls on the shutter button and the thumb grip doesn't work for me. And how much would it have cost to rubberize the thumb grip?

It reminds me a lot of the fit of my wife's Nikon D5000 which I've never enjoyed. It feels a little to dainty with that deep narrow grip. I would have much preferred something a little rounder and overall larger so my fingers would end up where they need to be. As it is I feel to show proper manners I need to extend my pinky finger as drinking a cup of tea.

I'm sure others welcome the change in fit, but it just doesn't do it for me.

@RyanW,

The grip is not my issue, it's the front wheel! I need to make myself comfy using it, with my K-r (in M mode) I simply use my index finger for the shutter release and my index at the green button, now it's complicated:.
