K-30 in the wild

Hey Folks!

I've been enjoying the use of a K-30 for the last few weeks, putting it through the paces and seeing how it handles in the wild and on a few editorial assignments. I took it on a white water rafting trip shooting for Rocky Mountain Journal, and brought down the river with now protection but it's own. It got splashed a plenty, but no problem; and the images it produced look great. I'm taking off tomorrow for a four day trip, shooting for Backpacker, and will be using in in tandem with my K-5. I'll be sure to post up some more when I return. For now, I can say that the weather sealing has officially been vetted and is no joke; and the the K-30, paired with the 18-135WR lens has got to one of the best go anywhere, do anything adventure/travels combos on the market.

I too purchased the combo as the reviews on the lens were great as well.

This camera is growing on me each day and with my K-5 in for minor repairs I can honestly say I do not miss it.

This was going to be a back up camera for me... now its turning into my go to camera.
