Your WR in the field

Ok, so Pentax is selling this as a camera for outdoor use, please show us how you have put this camera through its paces!

Wet, wild shots? Sandstorms in the desert? I am not looking for marketing pics/videos, rather what pictures you have taken with it whilst utilizing its most marketed feature.

Thanks in advance,

TJWest

Not the K30 but my K200D with a DA-L 55-300mm zoom. That ain't smoke coming off their tires! I was a drown rat after that practice session. All I did was wipe the camera and lens afterwards with no ill effects. As for myself I had to put on dry clothes to fly home.

Awesome! The wife has given me the thumbs up on the cam, should be getting it within the next two weeks, can' wait! Quick question, how do you keep the raindrops off the lens? Hood, umbrella, etc? Thanks!

Nothing that day. I have been known to use a plastic grocery bag and a rubber band around the lens but I didn't have one that day. It was naked in the rain.
