I see for the cat shot with the Samyang, you said focus confirmation was straggling. Why not use focus peaking?

I never used LV , well except on my Q ( there is no choice),
Had the camera for just two days , took 300 photos and I am more and more impressed, took some more photos with Sigma 10-20 + DA55-300 this morning, will upload to Flickr today.
Of course K5 is better camera but K-30 is smaller, lighter, I like the deeper grip, AF seems to be quicker with birds and outdoors, takes AA batteries ( with adaptor, still on back order and waiting), the noisy shutter does not bother me ( still have K-x and that is even noisier), it is really very enjoyable camera to use indeed.
The only minor issue so far , the Menu button too close to the Four-way controller (WB).
K5 will be permanently attached to the battery grip with 6x AA's and used with bigger lenses and probably MACRO.
wil try LV and focus peaking one day.

K-30 is very fine camera indeed, I can not stop using it, just added some more photos taken tonight with Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5 Macro , at the end of this set:
